Interview:

1.Vinyl or Digital?
Now I am using also digital for edits and unreleased material . But for me always vinyl is my preference and constant choice

2. How did your DJing career start?
My DJ career starts 2001, but I am into music since I can remember. I played in rock bands, also composed my own neo-classic peaces into the piano and developing synthesizers since I was a child. Everything changes in 1998 when I listen to club electronic music for the first time. Was an immediate connection with the beat, and from that time until now is a part of my life . First as a clubber, then as a dj and now producing some of the music that gets played in the clubs. I must say that until now it is an amazing experience.

3.Tell us,  what's ur all time favourite track?
Difficult to say…but I think that “ A taste” from Gemini ( classics records from 1997) could be one of my top favorites.

4. How did you meet Luciano, and how your career has evolved after?
Luciano was one of my favorite DJs since the days he was still living in Chile, playing music as DJ magi-k. Then he left our country but he is returning every year also with Ricardo Villalobos and this was that vision of music that I was following from the very beginning. Dani Casarano was friend from Luciano since they where at school in Switzerland, and Dani was living in Chile at the time and was my closest friend and music partner. That is how we meet. We still work together. After this my career as a DJ and producer changes for best of course. During this last years I have the possibility to show my art to people everywhere in the world, just nice words for my friend Luciano.

5. Will there be any gigs in Romania in 2013?
I am really hoping to go this year for the period of Sunwaves festival in May. I know that Romania has this special crowd for special music and I am pretty sure my sound will fit perfect over there. Dani was there last year and he already told me so much nice things about the party, the people and the unique flow….so crossing my fingers to have the opportunity to be there soon…

6. Can we expect an EP signed yours trully,Felipe Valenzuela in the nearby future?
There are upcoming releases on Cadenza and Melisma of course. Also a collaboration with Pier Bucci and Guy Called Gerald - this should be out in the next months, and my new upcoming release on Raum musik with my friend Dorian Paic. Also some remixes, etc.

7. If you were to describe your style with spices, which of them would best summarize it?
Difficult to say. As I am not playing just techno or just house. There is cool music in every electronic genre and I pick what I like and use it. Of course out of the cliches and the typical functional structure. I take more risk to show my own concept.

8. Some words about this podcast for beunderground.ro.
This podcast was made some time ago… Most of the tracks are records from my collection. So there is new and old material as I like always to mix. I am super happy that beunderground.ro can show this podcast to Romanian crowd. Hope they enjoy it!

9.At last, some words for your fans from Romania:)!
For the Romanian family, just to let them know that I am really expecting the time I can be with them and have some great time together. Them – me – and music. Its all we need!!
